Stam Architecten invited Atelier Bontekoe Van Put to design a partition between the bathroom and the rest of the house in the heart of a beautiful art deco house in Antwerp. The discovery of numerous paper models is a sculpture reminiscent of pointed arches in a Gothic cathedral. The 3.4 meter high spatial intervention is in line with a void that spreads light through the tall old building. In symbiosis with STAM's refined renovation, the mansion will have a new steel heart, which can be monitored from all floors. Installed with the greatest care and precision by Martha Bvba.
